Amazing Value
The nib has excellent flow and lays a smooth, consistent medium line. The pen body is well made and fits together flawlessly. I don't use the rollerball parts, but the refill is comes with is nice. As far as fountain pens go, it's a pretty incredible value at around 30 bucks, shipped.

Schrade Tactical Fountain/Ball Point Pen.
I'm fond of writing with fountain pens. When I saw that Schrade made a tactical fountain pen I thought why not.It writes very well and in the case of self defense is well made and would made a fine Koga. The assessment of others that as a pen it is somewhat large and heavy is true but I carry it in a inside coat pocket so I have no complaints. You probably wouldn't want to carry this in your shirt pocket however. (Just to see how it wrote I tried the ball point pen and it wrote very smoothly as well). As a duel Koga/ writing instrument I would certainly reccomend it.
