This is perfect for airline travel (I think). I'll let you know more when I return from Europe. It also writes well.

This is a great product at a very good price. The manufacturing is of high quality and the pen has a solid feel. My wife especially liked the pink heart one. They make great gifts.

I gave this pen to my wife, for Christmas. She works nights in a grocery store, tagging items. A little extra security makes us both feel better, and her favorite color is pink.

It doesn’t look like a weapon or kubaton even thou it is effective in that role. No one would give a second glance if you were to walk to your car with it in hand. Yet it can be used as a deterrent to attack and lethal with intent if a defensive situation warranted it. The screw on cap I prefer to the more expensive brand I own that snaps into place. I can not imagine a school that would object to a student having it on their person. It would be real nice if the cap would some how snap onto the pen while used as a writing instrument.

This was a gift for my girlfriend. I have the Smith & Wesson black tac pen, which is made by the same manufacturer, but has the S&W name on the pocket clip. I was so impressed with my S&W pen that I bought the pink Schrade for my girlfriend. It's made if the same materials that some of the "other" brands, yet 1/5th the price!! As this is a popular item, becauseof the quality and price, I waited to order from Knifecenter, until they had some in stock. They very quickly shipped the item to me. The girlfriend loves it. God forbid she should ever have to use the "business" end. It's pretty incognitio in pink...

I bought this for my wife who is a teacher. Laws are so restrictive about what they can carry at school so I had been looking at tactical pens for a while. That price point on these is amazing and she loves it.Very functional and easy to hold securely for striking . . . PLUS they write so well that I got one too . . . in gray of course!

I use this pen as a writing instrument but I also carry it for personal defense. I really love the color and the hearts! It looks feminine and is inconspicuous.I like the solid feel of it. The clip on the cap is very tight and makes it a little difficult to clip to a pocket. I can't speak on the quality of the refills. I haven't owned this pen long enough to make that determination.

The pink heart tactical pen will never get taken away by airport security. And if it does, it wasn't that expensive. You know if you bought your wife the $100 tactical pen, she'd lose it. Now you can buy her 4 of these instead, and she can find it in the black hole that is her purse because it is pink and shiny. You really don't need a $100 pen (doesn't mean you don't want one, I understand). It's a metal pen. The cheaper ones are great. The pink heart pen rules.
