Description
SOGKU2011: KU-2011 Large Kiku Fixed Blade, Satin
SOG Knives

Sometimes a folding knife comes along that is just begging to be made as a fixed blade. For SOG it was the Kiku.

This fixed blade beauty is a version of the popular folding collaboration between SOG and legendary Japanese knife maker Kiku Matsuda. Features a rugged linen micarta handle, molded hard nylon sheath, and full tang construction.

Building upon SOG’s long tradition of honoring Japanese knife makers, these fixed-blade Kikus use the collaborative design talents of SOG and Kiku Matsuda, one of the foremost tactical knife designers in Japan. SOG and Master Kiku Matsuda have won awards on collaborations before, and this knife should turn heads, too. The elegant linen micarta handle is rugged and easy to clean, while the AUS-8 stainless steel blade is set up for years of reliable service.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
Well made.
It only gets a four because of one small issue. The handles aren't flush with the tang which leaves a small but noticeable ridge when you hold the knife that is a bit sharp. Other than that the knife had beautiful balance and a really nice overall feel.
