SOGVL01: VL01 Vulcan
The General Electric M61A1 Vulcan is a 6-barrel 20mm cannon of the gatling-type. It fires standard M50 ammunition at 6,000 rounds per minute and is integral part of the armament of modern fighters such as the F-15, F-18 and of course the F-16.

Our Vulcan is also formidable with a powerful strength of construction. There is nothing weak about the Vulcan. Take for instance our patented Arc-Lock™. Or, the full steel liners encased in glass reinforced nylon (GRN) handles. The blade is a full .160" thick with spear point shape and includes our new kick deployment of the blade. Press on the back of the blade and the knife comes out fast. Reversible clip, Arc-Lock, and double thumb studs make for complete ambidextrous use.

Good knife
This has been my primary EDC for about 9 months now. Here are my two cents: Overall, it is a good knife. It has a great lock! (easy one hand open and close). The lock is solid. It is a nice looking knife and great feel, very light. When I first got it, I didn't car so much for the somewhat plastic feel of the handle, but it grew on me, made the knife light and now I love it. This is a great EDC knife if you wear pants that are a little loose - cargo pants, hiking pants, etc. If you wear jeans or pants that are a little tight / more fitted, I've found the knife can work it's way out of the pocket a little bit because of how the clip is. However, with loose pants, this is a great low-ride pocket clip that you can easily remove and slide back in your pocket with one hand. The knife comes sharp, but doesn't keep an edge as well as it should for this price and steel type. It sharpens back up OK, but I haven't been able to get it razor sharp again. The blade is more of a heavy use blade. I have used this knife from everything from food prep, carving sticks around the camp fire, carving out wood, cutting boxes, plastic, etc. The blade is a little thicker than some EDC and it doesn't cut as clean as some low hollow ground blades. Overall, this is a good knife and I have really enjoyed it. I have both the large and small version.

It's okay...
..if you're only going to use it to open boxes and letters. I've had a problem with edge chipping, and the primary grind is way off. There's blade play in all directions, and it won't hold an edge for long at all. Maybe i just got a bad knife, but there are many better options out there. On the bright side, it looks and feels sexy. For the price, they could have used g-10, but the zytel feels OK. The lock is easy to use, but mine doesn't fully lock unless i push on it a little. It is fast, but the faster you make it, the more blade play you get. Today i tried to fix the edge grind a little bit, and it worked somewhat, but it's still asymmetrical.
