SPLYLP3: Ladybug3 Salt - Plain

H-1 does something no other blade steel can, It remains 100% rust free and it actually holds a sharp cutting edge. Spyderco’s Salt Series offers a collection of H-1 folders and fixed blades with a newly added keychain-sized Salt. The Ladybug Salt is nearly as small as your car keys and carries just as easily. Its lightweight FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is coated with Bi-Directional Texturing® for slip-resistant cutting. It comes in stand-out Marine Yellow and easy to spot if dropped in water or on the ground. The LYL is clip-less with a lanyard hole to string a keychain or lanyard through. Whether light or heavy cutting, the Ladybug Salt is a compact firecracker with explosive cutting ability in a small package that will never rust.

Great Knife
I've been looking to get an H1 for a while and read several reviews before deciding to go with this one. Just about all the reviews I read said this knife was extremely ergonomic although it is a small knife. I can't believe how well this feels in hand! Razor sharp out of the box. I wasn't sure how I would like the thumbhole to open the knife (I've been kinda stuck on assisted openers) but after a year I don't know if I can go back! I put a short paracord lanyard on the keyhole to add a little extra weight and helps the grip better. In short, you cannot go wrong with this knife!
