Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Weight, Overall Quality
Cons: None
I still like this knife for the availability, steel and function. Some do not care for the chain citing it as weak. This of course is a matter of preference. I like the chain so I cannot be choked by it in a self-defense situation. Rather it will break away. I guess one's purpose of use may determine opinion on the chain.

i use to have this knife before they changed the tip to a drop point.
I use to have this knife before they changed the tip to a drop point. The tip was a Raton tip . I like the drop point tip better, but the sheath remained the same. I wish that they had changed the sheath as well so that it fit better or made the sheath universal so that the knife could go in either way. The chain is of poorer quality as well from the previous one, but can easily be replaced at your local Army Navy Store.

Very nice knife!
This will be my hiking/camping knife. I can't wear it legally in CA in a concealed manner, but I'm hoping it will be perfect as outerwear with a backpack strap to help constrain it. The whistle works great - very loud. The sheath is snug and the knife doesn't bang around in it. The chain seemed a little wimpy - I replaced it with paracord, which fit nicely in the holes. It seems secure, gripping by compression of the sheath onto the blade itself, in the area of the jimping, and with the sheath notch that matches the tab built into the knife handle. Whether it will stay tight in the long run - only time will tell. The blade came sharp out of the box. The jimping is a little rough, you can tell where the die cut is in the jimping area, but for the price, this seems a minor issue. The jimping is sharp and grippy, but shouldn't cut your fingers or thumb. got the knife to me quickly - very happy with the service!
