Pros: Construction, Weight, Materials
Cons: None
This will stop anything short of a bear.
After smacking a few things in the yard with this item, I cringe at thinking how this would react against flesh and bone. You can't ask for a better personal defense weapon, well, besides a gun.

Easy to deploy, but hard to retract
It's used by a female while walking in the neighborhood to protect her from dogs. She also likes the weight and carries it without the sheath for arm exercise switching hands. However, while it is easy to deploy, it's hard to retract and collapse into the handle without really hitting the tip very hard on a firm surface.

Great Product
The hardest part with this is getting it retracted. Go onto youtube and watch a couple videos and you'll have it down pat. Otherwise great product, almost want to buy another one.
