Description
SWMP5LB: M&P (Military & Police)
Smith & Wesson Knives

Maintaining the intimidating firearm styling and solid feel of the M&P (Military & Police) Series, this combat folder features a glass breaker tip and a tip-up pocketclip. The powerful and super fast M.A.G.I.C. assisted opening mechanism is activated by a pulling the lever (resembling a gunsight) or pushing up on the thumb stud, springing the blade open.

When you first open up this knife, the first words out of your mouth are going to be "It's M.A.G.I.C.". And that is what this truly is!

M.A.G.I.C. stands for Multipurpose, Assisted, Generational, Innovative Cutlery. M.A.G.I.C. refers to the dual patented, revolutionary assisted opening mechanism that is an integral part of this series of knives. You will find that the M.A.G.I.C. assisted opening mechanism is the easiest, single handed opening system you have ever used. Once you have used it, you will know that it's M.A.G.I.C.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use
Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
Awesome design
Heavy and wicked fast opening. Seems very well built. My only complaint is that it doesn't come all that sharp. Compared to Spydercos which come razor sharp this is a disappointment. Definitely will need some work on the Sharpmaker. A good buy for the money though.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Weight, Overall Quality, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
I use this daily. This is my first assisted opener. WOW. It is magic and truly opens super fast. When this knife opens the 'SNAP' gets attention. It's tough, sharp, perfect weight, and great to handle. It's easy to open and close one handed. If I had a complaint it would only be that the black coating on the blade does get scratched with use.
