fun throwing axe
Bought several for a Boy Scout competition. 75 boys spent all day throwing them. Many were able to stick the target after a few practice throws, and all the axes were in good shape at the end of the day, after more than 200 throws per axe. Great choice for a fun, lightweight throwing axe. The light weight that makes it easy to throw means it's a poor choice for camp chores. The cord wrap is not very secure. That can be fixed by removing it entirely, or securing it with a couple wraps of electrical tape. However, the bright color on the wrap is good when the axe misses the target and ends up in the leaves on the ground. The sheath does a good job protecting the blade. Although there is a belt loop on the sheath, it's a little challenging to get the axe out of the sheath if it's on your belt.
