Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type
Cons: Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Sheath, None
Best 4" Outdoor Folding Knife
The first thing to look for in an outdoor folding knife is its ability to touch up blade edge. Blade edge stays sharp long enough for almost all tasks. Blade edges that are easy to touch up are usually tougher, lower rockwell hardness. I like knife blade toughness. My medium hand size has some problem opening up blade one-handed. That being said, I don't mind the problem as this knife is not a EDC type of folder. No clip on the grip for pocket carry. I personally am glad that Victorinox did not include this feature. The sheath is fine but would prefer snap button as opposed to velcro.
