Pros: Finish, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Materials
Cons: Included Tools, None
Excellent knife, but a little disappointed in F&F
Everything you read about the usual Victorinox Spartan goes for this one, except it's incredibly much better looking and feels better in the hand. (It looks better than the picture.)The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is the fitting of the toothpick in the handle doesn't inspire confidence. I guess it's OK, but it feels a little loose. On a plastic handle Victorinox, the toothpick is held in place partly by flex in the plastic scale, with hardwood this doesn't work so that may be cause of the problem. Otherwise F&F is typical top notch Victorinox quality. (The tweezers flex against the stiff handle, so in contrast to the toothpick they sit snuggly.)I bought the knife because I think the plastic handles of the standard model is the weak point of the design, and wanted something a little more robust. I think Victorinox should have done as they have done in e.g. their horn handles and dropped tweezers and toothpick, or at least the toothpick.
