VN6790014: 6.7900.14 Rosewood Gaucho
Victorinox Swiss Army
Named for the large knives famously carried by the cowboys or "Gauchos" of 19th Century South America, this steak knife from Victorinox Swiss Army is a cut above. As nomadic cattle herders and hunters, the Gauchos relied heavily on these versatile beef knives whose refined shape is perfect for all cuts of beef and chops. Add to this time-honored blade our perfectly honed, ultrasharp edge and we're confident it'll bring out the 21st century Gaucho in all whose dining table it graces – sans campfires and ponchos.

Since the 19th century, Cutlery by Victorinox Swiss Army has been the first choice of professionals and consistently receives high accolades in industry product testing. The Gaucho Knife is the latest innovation in Cutlery from the brand that was made famous by the "Original Swiss Army Knife."

These knives exceeded my expectations
Very high quality knives. They appear to be made of the finest steel, so light for their size but so sharp and well balanced. These knives will make an impression on your guests.

Victorinox Review
Here is what I thought. Took a while for the order to be filled but service kept me informed. I ordered eight steak knives. The color on the handles was not consistent. The knives themselves seemed somewhat light. The good side is they cut through meat just fine. The utility of the blade works well even for a thinner blade. In the end I wanted a steak knife that was not serrated and cut well and this knife did that.

great Steak Knife
I use this steak knife for other meats as well, like chicken, pork. You don't have to"saw" meat like you do with inferior steak knives. This knife cuts through any meat like butter. It is a very attractive knife with its rosewood handle, and its comforting to read "Swiss Made" on the blade instead of Made in China. It's very comfortable in your hand, large, but not awkward to use. I am very pleased with this purchase.
