Pros: Refill Quality
Cons: None
It seemed like a good idea
I gave 2 of these to family members as gifts. Even at the discounted price the items weren't worth the money though, I suppose, they could be used tactically in a pinch. The ink flows smoothly on paper but I feel the ergonomics are wrong. The pen stem is too smooth and the taper angle is too large making it's use for a half hour or more uncomfortable. The knife tools are OK and are found on the least expensive variety of this knife. The light does not work on either of the black handled pens I ordered but does work on the green translucent handled one. No directions are given to get to the battery, what the battery type is or where to send the entire unit to have the battery replaced. It was also not mentioned on the box or in the description in the ad that there was or was not a pocket clip on the pen. There is one but, unbelievably, the exposed, tiny blades make some folks in the ultra liberal collage town I live in "nervous" (I'm rolling my eyes) so its best to leave it home and not bring it to work. And, of course, you aren't getting this baby onto an airplane. You are better off buy separate pocket knives and pens (and a REAL flashlight).
