This 550 paracord is definately a MUST HAVE for any camping/Hiking enthusiast! Perfect for Military, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Fire, and EMT! The amount of uses for said cord are almost endless! The 550 cord also has a very high breaking strength, so theres never an issue if wondering if the cord will hold up during any use. Its Mold and Mildew resistant as well so getting it wet is also no worry. This particular color is great as well. some of the many uses for the 550 paracord are: Lanyard/Survival bracelet making Tent Rigging Boat Rigging Trap Rigging Rigging gear on a pack Rescue Situations Tying loads down to vehicle Knife lanyards Gun Lanyards Preparing Game Closelines Shelter Making Hammock Rigging The white strands inside the colored nylon covering can be taken out for: Dental Floss Field Sutures Mending Material (rips tears in clothes and packs) Fishing Line Trap Making Fray the outside cord and remove the inside white cord and shred both to make a deent tinder for starting campfires. The nylong melts and will burn fairly slow even in damp conditions.
