ZT0102: Model 0102 Tactical Tomahawk
Zero Tolerance Knives

Zero Tolerance is proud to introduce our own tactical tomahawk, the new 0102. This Made in the USA, full-tang tomahawk is nothing short of relentless.

This powerful tool is adept at everything from obstacle removal and dynamic entry to opening crates. Like everything else we do, the Tomahawk is overbuilt for extreme use. The back spike is designed for maximum penetration, while the pommel includes a sturdy pry bar.

Vanadis 4 Extra powdered steel makes the ZT tomahawk extremely tough, while the DLC coating protects the blade. G-10 handle scales offer a secure grip and are beveled for comfort.

The Tomahawk comes with its own sheath for storage and convenient carry.

Functional and Beautiful
I have had my eye on this 'hawk for a while now and finally gave in. Out of the box it is somewhat sharp, a bit of a bummer as all of my ZT knives have been very sharp out of the box. No worries though, I plan to touch it up. The most impressive aspect is the balance. Even though it is a full tang tomahawk, it has excellent balance and the G10 handles are very comfortable, in spite of my small hands. The only two things that I would change are: add a lanyard hole at the end of the handle, and sharpen the concave edge under the spike. Otherwise, this is an excellent "tactical" tomahawk.

Zero Tolerance 0102 tomahawk
This is a very well made tomahawk, as all Zero Tolerance blades are, Its not stainless steel like the video says, its tool steel and very tough stuff unlike the crap stainless many companies use. The handle is not riveted on either but instead uses hex head fasteners. I've been using it both as a light weight alternative to a regular hatchet while bushcrafting and out hunting and while I'm out cutting wood to heat my house with, the spike works very well as a picaroon for picking up pieces of firewood and for moving logs without having to bend down as far, which at the end of the day saves my lower back ;) I also like how the blade is far enough away from the handle that there is no worry about hitting your knuckles on the bearded part of the blade ,which isn't sharpened either, unlike with a lot of other tomahawk designs, and it allows you to get your hand behind the blade far enough to make fuzz or feather sticks with as well. balance is great, I'm not sure of the reason for the hole in the head other than to balance it better or mabey its just for style. all in all its well made I'm very happy with it. other then its extremely stupid sheath which is about impossible to re-sheath while it on your belt, for this amount of money it should come with a better designed sheath
