The ZT0303TS
I was expecting a 7 or 8 when I purchased the zt0303 a knife I've wanted for a LONG time and got a 10!!! This knife was designed for the armed forces cuz of its strength durability and ability to be beat up on. But why can't that apply to civilian use. I love this knife. Yes it is of hefty weight but that's where it gets its strength from. True my EDC use doesn't compare to the beatings my Buck110 got while in the Army ( which I still have, 44 yrs now) but the confidence this knife gives u that no chore is too big is very satisfying. It is built extremely well. Top quality materials throughout. Yes , the purpose of ALL knives is to be a CUTTING tool, but I'm sure this knife has been used to pry, screw, hammer and all kinds of other things and still maintains its integrity. Till now, my favorite knife for taking a beating is my Gerber 06 which was designed for the MP's for all 4 military groups. The ZT is pricey but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. You won't get a knife with S30V steel, Titanium and Carbon Fiber for a cheap price. That would be like asking for a Mercedes at a Chevy price. In closing I have no regrets purchasing this knife. It's well built with quality materials and will stand the test of time. Shame on me, it is also asthetically beautiful and fits your hand like an exspensive pair of leather gloves.

I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's everything put together, but this knife makes me happy. My 620CF will always be my favorite for reasons given in the review I wrote for it, but this knife puts me in my happy place. The texturing on both sides of the handle gives a grip you know you're not going to lose. The assist is just right from any angle. Just a slight push on the flipper gets it open. Opens and closes smoothly. Really like the blade shape and finish. I've read some people don't care for the Tiger Stripe but I think it gives it a distinctive look. Blade was shaving sharp out of the box just like all my other ZT's. Perfect blade centering and good even grind. I thought my 0200 was a sturdy feeling knife, but this one takes it up a notch or two. Feels like it could take you to Hell and back and come back asking for more. Even though this is my second favorite ZT so far, I would have to qualify that by saying it's only second for because my 620cf is first for sentimental reasons. Like I said before, this knife makes me happy for some reason. Thanks to Knife Center for a great price and their great service. Get one, you won't be sorry. Like with every other ZT I have bought, it reminds me why I keep buying ZT.
