Description
ZT0700: Model 0700
Zero Tolerance Knives

More metal supports the point of the ZT0700’s extra-wide tanto blade. The S30V premium steel blade is 0.121 in. (0.307 cm) thick. One-handed opening is easy with the built-in Flipper. While the ZT0700 is a substantial knife, lightweight G-10 handles make it easier to carry, too.

Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Worth the $ hands down. I am hard on my knives so I don't skimp. I "traded down" to this knife from something else of almost the same design at 2x the price point. I went with this knife for two reasons. No unique screws and a blade length under 4 in. The G10 handles feel great in the hand even wet. S30V steel over the harder s35 favored by Micro is easer to maintain with out powered sharpeners. Iv daily carried min ZT0700 now for 2 months. Put one drop of CLP on each side of the blade where it met the Handel. Played with it for an evening left the screw factory tight and it's now faster opening than my OTF autos... I am now a ZT fan boy. On a side note. ZT put stabilizing studs on either side of the blade that ride in guides in steel frame under the g10 removing any possibility of blade wobble. This also prevents binding of the blade when using the flipper action really fast. I didn't see any other people point this out in a review anywhere so I was happy to see them.

Pros: Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip, Weight, None
It's a 5 ounce knife! NOT 4.2oz
So lets make this clear, this knife was never 4.2 ounces. Kershaw always loves to falsely advertise weights. This knife is a "4.6 ounce blade" and the one I got was 5 ounces! let me repeat that.. 5 OUNCES! So just take that into consideration... with that said everything else about it is amazing. I love the manual Flipper and s30v. This is the best value hard use knife on the market IMO. But just remember it is 4.6 to 5 ounces! If you think it's going to be 4.2 ounces you will be sadly disappointed like I was. Oh one more thing...no deep carry pocket clip so a fair bit of it will stick out of your pocket.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Excellant All around knife ,
I reviewed this knife just after I received it . Should have waited a little longer . On carrying ii the knife has proven to be a better buy then I originally allowed for . Everything about the 0700 is solid and built to last . It holds an edge and touches up easily when the blade needs a quick re-freshening so to speak . The 0700 fits well in my hand and is a great addition to my collection of working knives . I also like the flipper opening , very quick with a positive lock up that leaves no doubt that the 0700 is ready for any tasking you ask it to perform .
