Pretty good overall
Added this knife to an order at the last minute, because it looked interesting. The folded steel handle intrigued me, and overall, I have to say this is a good knife for the price, very light and easy to use. AUS8 is a decent enough steel, and I wish they'd left the blade unpainted. The blackout look is okay, but a blade that doesn't get marks from every task would be better. I also wish they had this one in a plain-blade version. The thumbhole is great, opening is smooth and easy, and the framelock is no problem to operate with one hand. There's no blade play, and the blade is centered nicely in the frame. There's also plenty of jimping around the knife for good grip. The only real knock I have with the knife is the butt of the handle. The oversized lanyard loop is made of metal with a square cross-section, and has very sharp edges. Combine that with the (in my opinion, unnecessary) window-breaker nib at the end, and the handle begins to really dig into the hand uncomfortably. I took a small metal file and rounded the edges, so it's much better. I certainly wouldn't want to have to do that to a knife costing any more than this one. Generally, this is a good knife that's very interesting and usable.
