HK® USA Knives introduces another unique model in 2007 with the 14440SB Ally. The Ally is poised to appeal to a broad market for a variety of reasons. Combining useful mechanisms, high quality materials, and the “No Compromise®” attitude expected from HK , consumers should expect to see an exceptionally popular new model hitting the shelves soon.
The Ally uses a new single-piece, folded stainless steel handle that adds strength while keeping additional materials at a minimum. There are multiple advantages to the new design in that there are fewer pieces to assemble and fewer moving parts. This handle assembly also keeps the knife beautifully simple yet strikingly tough.
The Ally comes standard utilizing a SB black coated, partially serrated, AUS8 blade. At the rear of the knife is a glass punch for added functionality. The handle has also been chamfered to reduce the overall weight to 2.92 ounces. The single piece handle construction is wrapped in a way that allows for a slim profile. The Ally also comes equipped with a large lanyard hole and a moveable pocket clip. This knife can be carried almost any way the owner desires.
One of the greatest features to this knife is the price. At $40 MSRP the Ally is expected to be a very popular choice for just about everyone. Law Enforcement, first time knife buyers, knife enthusiasts, and everyone in between seem to be attracted to this little hero. Combining form and function into an attractively priced package makes it all that much easier to have an Ally by your side.

A very widely used EDC steel, AUS-8 can take a very nice edge while also maintaining moderate edge holding and corrosion resistance properties.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Stainless Steel knife handles provide strength and durability while using chromium oxide to create a rust-resistant barrier.
