BO02BO156: Boker Plus Mark 1 Navy Knife
Boker Plus

A warrior's workhorse.

The Boker Plus line of historical knives from the U.S. Armed Forces is now followed by this impressive piece. Boker Plus The Mark 1 Navy knife was used by the U.S. Navy, and the main difference between this model and other knives from that era is the large synthetic pommel at the end of the classic leather handle. During WWII, this knife was manufactured by H. Boker & Co. in the USA (one of several manufacturers) for the U.S. Navy. This model features an SK-5 high carbon steel blade, and includes an authentic leather sheath. A unique piece with a special history, which is not only ideal for the collector, but also makes an excellent outdoor knife. Serialized. Blade length: 5-1/2". Overall length: 10-1/4". Weight: 6 oz. Made in China.
Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

Boker Mk. 1 USN - home run for Boker Plus!
This USN Mk. 1 reproduction is without a doubt the nicest "made in china" knife that I have seen. I haven't used it much yet, so can't offer much information on performance and edge retention, but it has a very good edge on it out of the box. I would rather have a satin type finish than the high polish mirror finish. The sheath is very nicely made. I like this one!

Nice reproduction
A great knife that really looks beautiful. The workmanship was better than average for a knife made in China. Handle leather had a nice finish, and I thought the knife was an accurate copy in every way. I believe even the original knives were a bit light for my liking, but this knife will be great for small chores, and fishing.
