Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

Pros: Blade Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Weight, Materials, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness
has serious limitations
this is best used only as a defense weapon. The issue given that is the lack of an enclosed finger hole to secure it. Larger hands will have a hard time holding onto this knife. The size does make it easily concealed and you can forget its there. This knife must be used however by a smaller person. Sheath is good. The chain that comes with the knife is ok but will easily break making weapon retention an issue. The upside is that the chain would be hard to have used against you as in a choke. Materials used in this blade are great. Does not come well sharpened so you will want to work on that edge some.

Needs Modification
It would be a better tool if had a point rather than a santoku design; I've found it to be largely ineffectual.

Cool knife, but slips out of sheath
I use the knife as a neckknife with the intention of using it for emergency situations. I wear a buttons up shirt to work everyday and wear the knife under my shirt. I barely notice it's there, which is great. The biggest negative is the sheath. I've had it for about a week or so and today it randomly fell out of the sheath. I've don't take it out a lot either, so it's not like the sheath is worn. If anyone has recommendations on how to fix the problem is appreciate it. That all being said if it sheath was better I'd give it 5 stars.
