    ZT0620CFCTS: Model 0620CF
    Zero Tolerance Knives

Zero Tolerance and Emerson Knives put their hard-use heads together to create the 0620CF.

CTS-204P offers a premium combination of features: the ability to take a very sharp edge, wear resistance for superior edge retention, toughness and polish-ability. When creating this alloy, one of the uses Carpenter specifically had in mind was making custom knives.

Of course, the 0620CF features the patented Emerson "wave shaped feature" that enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This Emerson instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.

The handle features a carbon fiber front scale with a stonewashed titanium back. Blade lock up is ensured with a sturdy frame lock. Hardened steel inserts in the lockbar make it extra durable.

    Outstanding Hard Use Folder!
This is my 3rd ZT, it arrived today. I was hesitant to order it at first, I didn't have any tanto blades in my collection. All that hesitation disappeared once I cracked the box. First, the carbon fiber really accents the handle. I would've preferred more texture, but that's my opinion. The weight is what I would expect from a folder designed for hard use. Secondly, the blade grind is fantastic. An American tanto grind with all the right lines and angles. Opening is smooth as expected coming from ZT. And I really like the opening disk rather than thumb studs, a Emerson standby. I haven't messed with the wave feature yet, but I'll definitely will give it a try. Incredible fit and finish, smooth opening, outstanding materials, Carpenter steel, whew....! I own XM-18s, a AdV Butcher, a few Benchmade, Spydercos.... this will be the folder I'll be EDCing for a long time to come.

    Incredible wave opening system
This is a follow up to my previous review. At first I didn't think much of the wave opening system but love the position of the wave tab where I rest my thumb on. So I decided to try the wave system and was surprised how easy it was to execute the wave system to open the blade while pulling out of the pocket. After the 2nd pull, it becomes natural for me to pull the knife and have it opened perfectly every time. In fact, this weekend when I was working on my backyard, I pulled it out and the blade was out and ready for action! I never have a folder that give me this kind of convenience. Very well done! Thanks to Emerson for inventing the wave opening system!

    A good EDC knife
I don't care for the word "tactical', as it is ridiculously overused. A knife is a tool and to be truly useful for me it must open quickly with one hand, lock open positively and easily with one hand. The use of a tool is determined by circumstances. I have confidence in this knife whether I am cutting a rope or carving some creep of of me. Although I have dozens of other knives I have chosen this knife for EDC. I have others that are Emerson products and quality wise the Zero Tolerance knife compares well. The true test of a knife is not possible in a short time, it is all about how serviceable the tool remains after 20-30 years of hard use.
