Description
MNTBK3A: BK-3a Bottleneck
Mantis Knives

The introduction of the "Bottleneck Family" was a milestone for the Mantis brand. This series of knives was our first collaboration with Hawk Designs of Idaho City, ID.

Gavin and Grant Hawk have long been friends of the Mantis organization, so it was only natural that we eventually collaborated to bring knife enthusiasts one of the most unique gadgets that the knife-marketplace has ever seen.

The Bottleneck design boasts a bottle opener, butterfly knife which attaches effortlessly to any keyring with it's integral handle/latch configuration.

Pros: Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Material, Lock Type
Cons: Overall Quality, Handle Material, None
Handle hinge fell off.
I enjoyed the product, it is a very unique design. I used it as both a bottle opener and a knife. In the few days I carried it, I even got some compliments on it. After carrying it for a week or so, however, the screws holding the handle hinge together fell out and were lost. Now half the handle is missing exposing the blade. I'd like to give the knife another chance. I liked it, so I'm looking into how to get it repaired / replaced.
