Description
CS29TLCC: 29TLCC Large Voyager Clip Point
Cold Steel

The Cold Steel Voyagers are, ounce for ounce, one of the strongest folders on the market. And this is a fact, not an idle boast. Each knife features precision made parts with a stiff spring and the incomparable Tri-Ad lock mechanism which is arguably the strongest, most reliable, low maintenance lock in the world!

The thick, extra wide blades are made from Carpenter CTS BD1 alloy steel and meticulously ground to a thin edge for maximum shearing potential. This thin edge also allows the blade to be honed to astounding sharpness. And, because of the high carbon content of the steel, and their near perfect heat treatment, you'll find this sharpness last a surprisingly long time.

The Voyager Series also offers all the other latest refinements in lockback construction including lightning quick, one-handed opening, state-of-the-art mechanical fasteners, massively oversized pivot pins that are fully adjustable and properly hardened, and dual stainless steel pocket clips for ambidextrous carry and deployment.

The Griv-Ex handles feature 6061 heat treated aluminum liners for the utmost in strength and stiffness and are ergonomically designed to afford a wide array of grip options including the palm reinforced forward grip for which they are particularly well suited.

Griv-Ex is unparalleled as a handle material as it is considerably stronger than Zy-Ex and, when deeply textured, offers a terrific non-slip grip. As an added bonus, it's impervious to moisture and won't crack, warp or shrink and remains remarkably resistant to abrasion or discoloration.

As tools these lightweight, super sharp knives are appropriate in almost any environment from hunting and camping to hiking and general utility chores. They can also readily fill specialty functions such as a boat or river knife, chute knife or police/military and survival/rescue applications.

Cons: None
excellent value
I have been a fan of Cold Steel products for many years. This latest version of the Voyager is an excellent all around folder ; extremely well thought out ergonomics , solid lock , razor sharp blade that opens easily and locks with authority. There is , in my opinion , nothing to dislike here - it's an all around 'home run' by a team that has been around a long time and just keeps getting better and better.

Great knife for a good price!
This is the first cold steel knife that I have owned and I'm extremely pleased.. I have owned many knives over they years and I have to say that cold steel takes first prize. Blade style, sharpness, edge longevity is a big deal to me. I have owned many more expensive knives and the knives loose their edge very quickly. I have put this blade through some of the same test that I have seen online and it still holds a sharp edge. Blade quality is great. It's a well thought out knife, the blade, the handle feels great, awesome grip, reverse grip feels comfortable too. Great knife for guys with big hands, fits well in my large hand.. Anyway, buy it, you'll love it! I am now a cold steel guy for life!

Pros: Weight, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Just received this knife, overall first impressions are
I just received this knife in the mail and so far I like it. It is a large knife so be aware before ordering, but if you have large hands like myself and pocket space it seems like it is a good knife for the value. Blade is nicely shaped and sharp out of the box but I dont know how durable it will be. I added the weight as a plus because it is actually a lot lighter than it looks. I would expect a knife of this size to be somewhat hefty and pull on your pocket but I dont notice this any more than some of my other much smaller knives.
