1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Aluminum Handles
Aluminum Handles
A solid, lightweight material that can be molded, textured or anodized to provide better grip under extreme conditions.

Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Handle Feel, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type
Not bad, worth my money
The knife is fairly sharp and feels great, the lock is a little stiff and tends to get stuck and in the way, but when trying to lock the knife the lock never really stays locked, it could use and O-ring or two but i thought the green was different and something interesting and gave it a shot, and the color is really nice, its not that sh#ty zombie looking green its just plain green and i like that. Plus the box and packaging are very professional I would recommend

Hopefully my next knife is more durable
So I'm just gonna' get right to it. I've had this knife for like two or three weeks, and one of the handles just broke off. The holes in the handle (specifically the top holes near the blade) Leave structural weak points that could have easily been avoided if the holes weren't there in the first place. So I used this knife a LOT. About 3-5 hours each day since I got it. It didn't break because of flipping, it broke because of me dropping it (because I'm still fairly new to flipping). But anyhow, the damn thing wouldn't have broken if the handles didn't have the holes in the top near the blade. The other holes are completely fine, though. If I could redesign this knife completely, I wouldn't change a thing except getting rid of the top holes on the handles. Hell, I'd get rid of all the holes entirely. Also, after about 2 hours of use, the tang pin completely warped making the latch completely useless. I'm giving this review a 2 instead of a 1 because it was my fault for dropping the knife so many times, but it was Bear and Sons (yes it's a Bear and Sons knife, just with the Remington logo on it) fault for making a product with so many structural weaknesses. I'm not buying another butterfly knife from them again. There are positives to this knife though. After you break it in it flips very nicely, but you can't tighten it because of the pin construction. It's heavy, which is very nice, and the blade is pretty sharp (I actually cut myself pretty good after failing an aerial).
