Description
SMG205: Mini Druid 205
Steel Will Knives

The Mini Druid is a light and compact hunting and camping knife. It has the same basic principles as the other Druids by keeping the handles as the grippy Thermoplastic Elastomer which is great for wet environments. It also keeps the 9Cr18MoV stainless steel which has a good cutting edge and is easy to sharpen. The overall length is down from the originals at 8.66" long. A full tang construction contributes to the strength and durability of the Druid, and the tang extends from the handle forming a hammer/glass-breaker. The Mini Druid is accompanied by a sheath made of high quality leather with a thumb rest for convenient extraction.

9Cr18MoV Stainless Steel
9Cr18MoV is high carbon chromium bearing steel that is corrosion resistant. It is steel that is known to keep its cutting edge and has good corrosion resistance. Blades made from this grade of steel are also easy to sharpen. 9Cr18MoV is one of the most popular knife steels in the world and is a great value in terms of price and quality.

Satin Finish
Satin is one of the most effective and brutal metal treatments available. The blade surface is covered with small unidirectional strokes forming a uniform pattern. The blade has a matte finish but reflects direct sunlight. An added benefit is that most minor wear and scratches from regular use are unnoticeable with the Satin Finish.

Sharp Dressed Druid!
Owning several knives from budget to "You Spent How Much!" I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing. Well folk the hunt is over! The Steel Will 205 Druid is great combination of design, cost, quality and devilish sharpness! This thing came out of the box hair popping sharp and even after repeated use is still scary sharp. The handle is very comfortable and shines in every way. The one blemish (a slight blemish!) is the sheath. appears to be decent quality but it took a lot to shape it to the knife. I'll let ya'll know how it holds up. All in all Great Job Steel Will, Love the Druid 205!

This May Be My New Favorite!
I've carried knives almost daily for more than 50 years. In that time I've purchased dozens of knives, always looking for a perfect balance between usefulness, quality and value. This one comes awfully close. Though I own many nice knives, some of them have aged into collector's items. This one feels great in my hands and arrived so sharp that I felt no need to immediately put it to the stone. I can't think of a better all-around shape for processing medium sized game. The blade thickness and flat grind even make it suitable for light chopping and wood processing. The Scandinavian style sheath seems well-made, but given a choice it would not have been mine. Legal considerations aside, it's hard to find excuses not to carry this knife everywhere.

solid knife
The knife exceeded my expectations, normally not a big fan of Chinese made knife, but this fits excellent in my hand with its no slip grip and is not so big that it looks like a big hunting knife, more a utility knife which suits my needs, the blade is actually pretty thick and a breeze to sharpen, I changed out the nice Scandinavian style leather sheath for a more compact belt style - good knife - good price.
