Benchmade is one of America's foremost producers of modern high-tech knives. They have led the way along with Spyderco in the design and marketing of well made and easy to use edged weapons and tools. Virtually all of their models can be easily and quickly opened and closed with one hand. Using materials like titanium for the liners (locking mechanisms within the handles) along with G-10 (a light but strong material borrowed from the aerospace industry) for the handle material and ATS-34 super strong stainless steel for blades, they have produced a variety of best-selling knives over the last half a decade. We are proud to offer these items at the KnifeCenter and try to stay well stocked when it is possible. Unfortunately, Benchmade has a marketing strategy which keeps their products hard-to-get and so we are often out of several models for extended periods of time.
