Gentleman Folders
Several companies produce small, lightweight and high quality folders we call "Gentleman's Knives." Most can be carried in a shirt pocket and some have a small clip so that they can be attached. We don't have a comprehensive list of all knives that would fit this category, but you can list many of them HERE, or follow the links below for sub-groupings. |

Chris Reeve produces beautiful handmade folders and we are fortunate to be able to sell them. We don't always have them in stock, but please view the listing with prices and availability. |

Lockback Hunters
Illustrated here by the Folding Hunter from Buck, the lockback knives have a metal piece on the top of the handle that releases the blade from a locked position. We have models from under 2 inches all the way up to a foot in length and various handle materials.
Liner Locking Folders
These knives have a liner, or metal sheet, inside the handle that is stressed so that it moves across the base of the blade when you open the knife, to lock the blade in the open position. To close the knife, you simply use your thumb to move the liner aside releasing the blade.
