"San Moritz" the highest quality forged knife line presently on the market imported directly from Solingen, Germany using only Solingen steel.
These are a few dollars less expensive than the comparable Henckels knives, but are, in the opinion of the KnifeCenter, superior in quality.
Knives are forged from one piece hi-carbon, no stain Molybdenum/Vanadium Steel alloy. Ice-hardened to guarantee uniform tempering to blade and tang, assuring easy to re-store edge and long edge retention.
Edge honed to perfect sharpness.
Polished back and rounded heel for comfort and safety.
Polyoxymethelene (POM) molded handle.
Chef's knives have the famous Messermeister rocking action.
