JEMICO SOLINGEN RAZOR STROPS

Since the early 1900 ' s Jemico Solingen has produced razors and strops that are among the finest in the world. To keep the fine razor edge on half or full hollow ground razors, sharpen with a strop made of smooth Russian or Rind leather. Draw the edge away from you with the back of the razor
on the strop. When changing the direction, the razor should be turned over, as in the illustration. Never raise the back of the razor off of the strop; it will rake off the edge.Use paste for best results.

		We offer three varieties of paste or leather dressings. The J55 is from DOVO of Germany, the manufacturer of most of the razors we sell and probably the largest manufacturer of straight razors in the world. It is considered to be the "yellow" paste. The J56 is from THIERS-ISSARD, FRANCE who manufacture the super high quality razors from France. It is white paste. The bottle of J57 is dressing compound from the Illinois Razor strop company.
		J55. Razor Strop Paste - made in Germany. You put a little on the heel of your palm to work it into the strop surface. Don't use too much. Sold as single tubes. J56 White strop paste from France. Top quality grease-less formula. This paste is for either the canvas or the leather sides of strops.
