The Basket Hilt Broadsword
This sword is was carefully selected to be included in the Iberia line. The style is authentic Scottish; patterned after a Culloden (1746) period piece. This double edged basket hilt has a basket which is large enough for an "American hand" and is made from a padded material surrounded by a nickel-plated steel cage. These are a little "rougher" looking than some of the other Iberia swords but this is a great addition to the selection.
It is produced in India of 1095 Spring steel tempered to 50 Rockwell (range 48-52).
