| Step 1. Sharpens Serrations Beveled surfaces on the black end caps will position ceramic rod at correct sharpening angle. Hold bead chain and end cap as shown in the photo with corner of ceramic rod facing up. Place blade serration on the corner of the ceramic rod and draw downward. Repeat procedure on each serration 5-10 times. |
Step 2. Sharpens Straight Edges Beveled surface on black end caps will position ceramic rod at correct sharpening angle. Hold bead chain and end cap as shown the photo with flat side of ceramic rod facing up. Place blade on ceramic rod and draw downward. Repeat slowly and carefully 15-20 times. |
Step 3. Sharpens Points Beveled surfaces on black end caps will position ceramic rod at the correct angle. Hold bead chain and end cap as shown with grooved side up. Place tip of a dart, fishing hook, awl, scribe, etc. in the groove and carefully slide tip up and down in the groove 15-20 times. |
