ACU1807PBW: ArtisanCutlery Virginia 1807P-BW, Black/Gray G10 Handles

The ArtisanCutlery Virginia is a sleek and lightweight flipper that is great for everyday carry. While on the larger side, its slender handle and blade shape allow it to fit comfortably in the hand or pocket. The blade is 3.94" and crafted from D2 tool steel. This air-hardened tool steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability. The handles are made from textured G10 over stainless steel liners and include a stainless steel pocket clip set up for right or left-hand tip-up carry.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Handle Material, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Very nice knife, cut edge not completely sharp
I just received this so haven't put it to much use yet. First, really nice looking and put together knife, especially for the price. When i first saw it, I thought of the urban trapper by Boker, but much larger. Make sure you look at the specs. Handle completely fills the hand and then some. Well made for impact use with butt of knife. Deep carry pocket clip nice and really hides the fact that this knife is so big. Linen micarta black/white handle is classy looking and provides good grip. I could not find any sharp edges or any poorly fit components. Flipper works good and there was no wear in period as on many knives. Very smooth. The main reason for only gave it 4 stars is that the first 1 1/2" of the blade (from handle) did not have much of an edge, but 10 minutes on the Spyderco tri-sharpener gave it a keen edge. This will be my EDC knife for next couple weeks and I will see how it holds up.
