After the success of ArtisanCutlery's Kinetic-Tool, they decided to improve on the original design by adding a few small but important details. The end result of that upgrade was the excellent Kinetic-Tool II. It retains the unique butterfly/auto action of the original with a new more interesting design. The addition of a pocket clip makes carrying this item much easier, while the recessed latch smooths out the profile so it fits better in the pocket.
The unsharpened "blade" of the Kinetic-Tool II has also been changed into a more dagger-esque shape. It is made from 8CR stainless steel that has been stonewashed to reduce wear and tear while using its variety of integrated tools. The tools that are milled from the "blade" include a bottle opener, a set of hex wrenches, a 3" ruler, and the whole thing can be used as a prybar/nail puller. The handles are made from skeletonized titanium for reduced weight, and the flipping action is smooth as silk.
The Kinetic-Tool II brings all of the uniqueness of the original, into a new design. There is nothing else out there like these unique items, and if you flip them out at a party they will be the center of attention for sure.
