Andre De Villiers Knives Mini Impi Slipjoint Folding Knife 2.05" N690 Spear Point Blade, Stainless Steel Handles with Rosewood Inlays
ADVMIMPIRW: Mini Impi Slipjoint, Rosewood
Andre De Villiers Knives
The Pocket Butcher was the first Andre De Villiers folder to utilize a traditional slipjoint mechanism and the Impi was the second. Many people throughout the world are restricted when it comes to their everyday carry folding knife choice, living in countries that don't allow locking or one-hand opening designs. Others just want a knife with more classic styling yet built along the lines that have made ADV knives so popular around the world. Well, Andre now has the knife for you in the Mini Impi, a micro EDC tool with a spear point blade, comfortable three-finger grip, and a very stout slipjoint mechanism.
It is roughly the same size and shape as the Mini Pocket Butcher yet is stylish in its own unique way. The 2.05" spear point blade is made from N690 stainless steel with a blood groove to aid in the opening, a half-stop safety, and a script de Villiers logo. The handles are made from beautiful rosewood inlaid into brushed stainless steel frames with a steel back spring for a very solid feel. It takes a large amount of force to close the blade so you can perform heavy-duty cutting tasks with this sturdy little design. The index finger groove and tapered shape of the handle make for a very comfortable hand feel during use and it includes a lanyard hole integrated into the backspacer and a nylon carry pouch. If you've been looking for an overbuilt non-locking knife for your keychain that is different than the Butcher from ADV, the Mini Impi is your blade.
