ADVMPATH2BKCU: Customized Pathfinder Gen 2, Black and Copper
Andre De Villiers Knives

The Pathfinder was an awesome design from Andre De Villiers and one serious tactical folder. It was smooth, fast, sharp, and stout—really everything one looked for in a tactical blade. The Pathfinder Gen 2 is just the same but with minor refinements for a supremely smooth flipping and looking design. It has a 3.875" drop point blade made from CPM-D2 tool steel with a black Cerakote finish. The handle is made from milled titanium with a bronze anodized and black Cerakote finish and copper inlays. The design is set off by heavy jimping on the thumb ramp which gives you an amazing grip and the copper inlay on the backspacer looks great on this excellent knife.

The pivot point is what sets this knife, and all ADV blades, apart from the others. It has an inset Torx screw that fits inside the pivot, allowing you to tighten down the pivot while adjusting the centering or overall smoothness of the action. That action is very smooth, to say the least. Jimping on the flipper tab is sharp and functional; really nothing was overlooked in this awesome design. Andre put in a large cutout relief to make closing the knife easier and has a replaceable lockbar insert that doubles as an overtravel arrestor. The right-hand, tip-up milled titanium pocket clip on the Pathfinder Gen 2 incorporates the rolling ball design for an easier draw. This is an awesome design and has quickly become one of our favorite ADV knives, get one while you can!
