ADVMPATHTTBL: Mini Pathfinder, Two-Tone Blue
Andre De Villiers Knives
The Pathfinder was an awesome design from Andre De Villiers and one serious tactical folder. It was smooth, fast, sharp, and stout—really everything one looked for in a tactical blade. The Mini Pathfinder is just the same, sized to appeal to the masses with excellent build quality. It has a 3.25" drop point blade made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a polished satin finish. The handle is made from blue anodized titanium with brushed satin flats and a hole pattern milled through on each side to provide additional traction for your fingers and to reduce weight. The design is set off by heavy jimping on the thumb ramp and titanium backspacer which give you an amazing grip on this excellent design.
The pivot point is what sets this knife, and all ADV blades, apart from the others. It has an inset Torx screw that fits inside the pivot, allowing you to tighten down the pivot while adjusting the centering or overall smoothness of the action. That action is very smooth to say the least. Jimping on the flipper tab is sharp and functional; really nothing was overlooked in this awesome design. Andre put in a large cutout relief to make closing the knife easier and has a replaceable lockbar insert that doubles as an overtravel arrestor. The right-hand, tip-up milled titanium pocket clip on the Mini Pathfinder incorporates the rolling ball design for an easier draw. This is an awesome design and has quickly become one of our favorite ADV knives, get one while you can!

Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A tougher steel than S30V, it retains the excellent corrosive properties and ability to take an edge, but improves on the ability to hold that edge.
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
