Mother of Pearl Handles
Mother of Pearl Handles
A beautiful natural material, Mother of Pearl is very strong, resilient and really accents knives well.
Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
The lockback system has been used for many decades. It can usually be found on the knife spine and it provides a strong lockup that will wear well.

Pretty little knife, useful too
Beautiful little knife. The pointy blade is perfect for cutting things out of the newspaper and is my go to knife for splinter removal duty. The fit and finish on the knife are excellent and it locks snugly. The black-lipped pearl is beautiful and a marvel to look at. It comes with a nice pocket pouch with some nice tooling (probably stamping, but it looks like tooling) on it. I haven't used it for a while, but I remember it being unfinished leather. Complaints are minor. On my copy, the lock mechanism is a little difficult to work. I think it's because it's such a small knife, that there isn't much leverage. Then again, I have a big Queen Lockback that requires everything I've got to unlock it, and I like that knife. This is really a minor complaint.
