Cons: Sheath/Scabbard
Well Manufactured Knife
I use the knife for just about everything one would normally use it for. The blade toughness and resistance to wear and rust is second to none.

Cons: None
While the overall shape and feel of this knife is not much different than most, you can tell the minute that you pick it up that it is a top quality blade. This is my first Al Mar knife and the old saying that "You get what you pay for" certainly holds true here. I would recommend this knife to anyone who appreciates a top quality knife. The one way snap on the sheath was difficult to open at first, but a drop of oil did the trick.

Love it!
This can be an EDC knife if you're careful about it and you have a different SHEATH. It's an all-around great fixed blade. Lightweight, beautiful handle (althought the scales cannot be removed, very good quality, great steel (VG-10 is one of the best out there), I'll get back to the sheath, beautiful finish, and comes hair-popping sharp out of the box- CAUTION, if you wipe the blade on your shirt, you'll cut your shirt every time. Okay, the sheath is nice, but belt carry is really the only carry that the sheath will work for no matter how versatile they try to make it appear. It is not MOLLE attachable and will not easily attach to you LBE gear. The the straps that secure the handle get into the way, and you'll end up cutting them if you're not careful and if you're too careful not to cut the straps, you'll cut your hand. Putting the knife back into the sheath is like putting a thread through a needle head. The sheath made for this knife is good quality and very useful, but I just sent mine to have a custom Kydex sheath made for it, after this and having the false edge made into a true edge eventually, this knife will be PERFECT. This mini version is concealable and will give you that advantage over the full-sze, but still have the an effective role in the tactical arena.
