Great EDC!
I purchased this knife from Knife Center about a month ago. The knife is very nice and well built. The design is simple, and VG 10 steel blade has remained sharp under heavy use over the last month. We make fishing rods and work with cutting grip material on a lathe. I use this knife and the Benchmade 940 for fine trim work on the rods also. They are both very high quality knives that make for perfect every day use. The knife arrives a little bit tough to open but breaks in nicely. I would recommend this knife

Original and full of quality
This knife is a piece in itself, smooth action (you really feel the quality) , outstanding finish (just compare to an emerson or any us spyderco) made by Moki (the best skills in Japan for production knife) and an innovative design who allow 3 type of handling. Kirk Rexroat, wich is a real artist and a free creative mind have signed a great serie for Al Mar. This Nomad is a small everyday knife with great cutting power, great feel in hands, good weight and a design who revisite the tactical basis lines. High polish for the blade and smooth textured g10. A choice you won't regret.

Al Mar Nomad
I like almost everything about this knife- its looks, the smooth action, solid liner lock, and light weight. I am not a fan of the handle shape or feel. It feels a bit like sandpaper and the handle shape leaves your pinky finger feeling a bit left out. The thumbstuds make it easy to open whether you are right or left handed, but the pocketclip cannot be moved to the opposite side. Great quality, but feel is a matter of preference.
