Bark River Knives Blackwater Fixed 3" Elmax Blade, Green Canvas Micarta Handles, Leather Sheath - BA07045MGC
BAR07045MGC: Blackwater, Green Canvas Micarta
Bark River Knives
Bark River specializes in cutting tools for outdoorsmen and others who need real performance in the field. They use a blend of traditional/contemporary designs and styles to get a product that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also ultra-functional.
The Blackwater is a reincarnation of the same knife Bark River made back in 2008-2009. This has been one of the most requested of their earlier models and they finally had the time to work it into their production schedule. It is a smaller version of the Blackwater II Belt knife. The Blackwater is perfect for EDC and doing detail work as a companion to a larger knife in the field. The point is fine so detail work is made simple and easy with Bohler Elmax steel for maximum edge holding. The slightly curved handle sits very well in the hand so that you can use it for a sustained task as easily as a small quick task and at under two ounces, it is light as a feather to carry.

Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.
Extremely fine grained powdered metal that strikes the balance between edge holding and corrosion resistance perfectly. Much more likely to get a rolled edge than have a chip develop.
This product is USA born and raised.
