Bastinelli Creations

Bastinelli Creations takes functional tools and boils them down to simplistic, useful designs with a little bit of style. They're known for their Dragotac folding knife with its versatile flat ground wharncliffe style blade and oddly shaped, yet wildly ergonomic handle. Many of their designs utilize this blade shape but all feature exceptional ergonomics. The Cal Persian is a great EDC fixed blade is you prefer the upswept Persian-style blade with plenty of belly. The 2.5" blade is made from Alenox stainless steel and the cord wrapped handle is ergonomic and comfortable to use. There is a huge run of jimping on the spine of the blade that really locks this design in during use. The sheath is made from Kydex with a variety of holes to attach it to a belt or around the neck. This is a tool you will not have any guilt using, especially since it's about half the price of an Italian made Bastinelli. Manufactured by Mid Tech in France, designed by Bastinelli Creations.

Another great knife from Bastinelli Creations. I wear it as a neck knife sometimes, but lately I've been putting it in a leather card wallet. I carry my main wallet in my right side back pocket, and an I.D. card wallet on the left. This thing fit perfectly inside. I put a Schmuckatelli zipper pull on it as a short lanyard. The knife comes right to the top of my pocket, without sticking out at all. The only thing you see is the lanyard hanging down. This is the sharpest knife from factory that I've ever received. With all that belly, it's great to have as a backup blade. It allows you a lot of options as far as carrying a folder. If you wanted to carry a tactical blade, like an Emerson, with a tanto blade and serrations, you can when you have this as a slicer. This would also be a great skinning knife.
