The Zenaida is a small and compact, yet durable, folder. It has many very unique features including a dovetail mechanism that allows the knife to be assembled and disassembled without any screws or traditional fasteners. The end result is a knife that has very standard application and use, but utilized a very unique manufacturing method to get there. It's one of those knives you have to have in your hands to appreciate all the hand fit and finishing that goes into each and every blade. It fits together and feels like a glove in the hand. If you prefer smaller EDC blades and want something innovative few other people have, the Zenaida is your knife.
The Zenaida features a 2.75" long, 0.10" thick blade that is composed of CPM-S35VN, a very durable stainless steel that is hardened to a Rockwell rating of 58-60. The blade is precision hollow ground to achieve excellent cutting and sharpening properties, these properties allow it to retain appropriate edge geometry throughout a lifetime of use.
The handle is comprised of two solid Titanium frames that are fastened to each other using dovetail grooves which are cut concentrically about the pivot. This technology eliminates the need for screws or any other traditional fasteners, in fact, no tools are required to disengage the handles and disassemble the knife. That being said, the knife is incredibly durable and does not suffer any functional disadvantage as a result of the screw-less design.
The ‘dovetail’ tongue and groove technique for constructing the knife is one of its most unique design features, and as a result, became its namesake. The term Zenaida is a Latin name for a Genus of small American doves. Zenaida is also a common female name in many cultures, originally derived from the Greek deity ‘Zeus’.

Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A tougher steel than S30V, it retains the excellent corrosive properties and ability to take an edge, but improves on the ability to hold that edge.
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
This product is USA born and raised.
