Nice, old-fashioned knife.
With Tacticool being popular and black knives being totally played, it's refreshing to find knives with a classic theme to them. The grizzly creek is very well done. The composite wood handles are of high quality. Although it is geared towards hunters, I will be using this knife mostly in my EDC rotation. The only negatives are related to a repeating pattern I have been seeing from Benchmade --the blade on this knife came relatively dull. There was also a noticeable amount of play in the axis lock and I had to tighten down the screw. Both issues are easily rectified but leaves me somewhat perplexed. This is not what you would expect out of the box for a $150 knife. I don't know what the deal is but the last three Benchmades I purchased(griptilian, bushcrafter, and grizzly creek) all came with blades that required sharpening and both folders had very noticeable play and were not centered. I sent some comments to Benchmade on this. Come on, Benchmade-- these are not $9 made in China trinkets. Overall, though, I am very happy with the knife.

Good knife
Used it to skin and cut up a deer last fall and it did a great job. The knife comes very sharp. The gut hook worked as you would expect. This is a very good knife to handle a deer. I would recommend it.
