One clipped to the sun visor of every car
I flipped a Ford Falcon (large passenger sedan) over an old creek bed, we went vertical and rolled over until we hit a tree. My window was the only one not crushed beyond ability to climb out of. I had three passengers. I couldn't tell you how any of the features work when used as described. It was daylight, so I didn't need the torch, and my seatbelt unclipped and dumped me onto the roof when i clicked the button. Because we hit under the chassis first our airbags and pretensioners weren't activated. What I can testify to is that if your a 5'9 scared sh*tl#ss male with nothing else in reach, you can swing it hard into a window and it will break it. Somehow we got out without anything but cuts and bruises. Since that, one rides in every vehicle and everyone in the family got one for christmas. Over and above 5 stars, for doing nothing it was supposed to do, but working perfectly for my required function at what will probably be the one time I will ever need it.

Emergency Tool
Not meant for everyday use, but would definitely trust this in an emergency.

Best tool of this type for the price
Everything you need in one tool and at a reasonable price. It is called a rescue tool, but if you or loved ones are trapped in a vehicle, this becomes a survival tool. We have all seen flaming cars and truck on the freeway. In an emergency this tool can save your life. Mine rides in the cab of my truck, in reach at all times. This would make an excellent gift.

well worth the $
Has a heavy duty feel to it. Haven't used it yet to test out, other than the light. Hope to never have to use it. Bought it to keep in the car.

Excellent First-responder Tool
Solid build. Modest weight, and its something you want to "feel" that has weight or substance to it, but not that so its like lead. I call it "just right". The belt cutter is a very thick blade, so it should take a beating if ever needed (not flex or break). Folds nicely, but its not a full hidden blade. I'm going to keep it in the sheath pouch (nothing special about it - should be somewhat durable) that is included and leave it in my car center console rather than just keeping the tool itself on my back side of my belt. The window breaker tip is a heavy spring and should make a solid punch to a corner of a car side window with little effort. The spring is much more hard to compress than some other rescue knives I've seen, so I call it a heavy-duty usage tool. The LED light is a nice add-on, and doesn't get in the way. Merchant shipped fast, and the price was a very good value for the Christmas season, too. FYI: Took a bit to figure out how to get the light to work, vis a vis the battery compartment has a clear plastic circular liner you need to remove before you put in the 2 included batteries. Once I took out that little circle liner, the batteries could make a connection. That tidbit wasn't in the little how-to guide, so be mindful of that little issue. I have the yellow one (comes in black too), so it is "noticeable" when its on a pile of tools or in a tool kit tray. In all, very satisfied.
