Boker Plus Jesper Voxnaes F3.5 Folding Knife 3.375" D2 Satin Blade, Black G10 with Stainless Steel Back Handles - 01BO337
The Boker Plus F3.5, designed by Jesper Voxnaes, is the consistent evolution of the well known Boker Plus F3, which was one of the most popular knives in Boker's range thanks to its extremely sturdy construction. The F3.5 convinces with almost identical dimensions and is equipped with a reliable stainless steel frame lock. The blade, made of D2 with a satin finish, is opened using the thumb opening. The ergonomically shaped handle with a front scale made of textured G10 is very comfortable to hold, and details such as the blue anodized clip (tip-up) and the blue anodized spacer add a colorful accent.
With a chromium content of 12%, D2 — a tool steel — can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
