BRBMINISBKDAM: Custom Damascus Mini SBK Fixed Blade
Borka Blades

The Mini SBK fixed blade is a custom handmade collaboration between Tony Marfione and Sebastijan Berenji, AKA Borka. It's a pared down version of the SBK, designed for concealed carry and specific use as an appendix carry or boot knife. It features a gorgeous hand ground blade made from Chad Nichols stainless Boomerang Damascus, the upswept shape of which is absolutely stunning. This full-tang design features a finger guard with elegant styling that is a staple of Borka Blades. The handle is made from ray skin with 550 paracord wrap over top for a supremely ergonomic grip, creating perfect harmony between user and instrument. The Mini SBK comes with a Ulticlip carry system attached to the carbon fiber finish Kydex sheath which will allow the user to gain over ten times the retention while increasing concealability.

Truly Beautiful Piece!
I have several Borka custom folders - I was extremely happy to add this FB to my collection - I mean won't be cutting things with it - nice safe queen though.

A very good knife, but...
The knife is well made and extremely sharp. I was looking for something with a 4 inch blade that would be easily concealable. It definitely covers both of those requirements. The problem is that you are paying hand-made custom prices for a knife that was probably made on a factory floor. The workmanship feels more like something from Cold Steel than a master smith. Again, as a working tool it's very good, and if I had paid even $500 for it I would have been very pleased. But $1000, no it's not worth that.
