Buck Knives
People who carry an everyday knife, do so for one very important reason - because they use it every day. The knives they carry must be reliable as they are functional.

The Graduate is a sleek, lightweight gentleman’s folder featuring an elegant burl wood handle. The frame lock design keeps the blade locked open with a channeled part of the frame that also minimizes moving parts. The one hand opening feature allows for quick deploy. With the contoured handle and ergonomic fit and traditional burl wood handle, the Graduate™ is just the right everyday companion.

420HC is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add Buck's exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance Buck hardens to a Rockwell hardness of 58-60HRC.

Buck’s Select Level offers reliable products at an unsurpassed value. Quality materials and innovative Buck designs create practical knives and tools that deliver affordable excellence. Designed in the USA. Built in the USA or imported.

Pros: Blade Material, Lock Type, Weight, Blade Sharpness, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Ease of Opening
Highly figured but NOT Burl
Pros: Impeccable quality in the fitting of the blade and mechanism. The blade may be a bit difficult to operate, but there is not even a fraction of slop in this knifes mechanism.Cons: Not Burl Wood. I am a wood worker and bought this knife based on that. While the wood is highly figured, yes, it is not of Burl. The wood scales on one side were over sanded and does not fit properly causing a gap between the wood and the metal frame opposite the locking mechanism. Considering the superb fit and finish of the metal parts, the poorly shaped and fitted wood scales really cause this to be another one of my knives that will reside in a drawer and not my pocket.

A very nice stylish knife !
Closed, open, there is style in it !My only complaints is that it as need a break-in periode, a little difficult to open or close. And for the style, the blade is perhaps on the heavy side
