Pros: Handle Feel, Overall Quality
Cons: None
A gentleman's knife for the man who wears jeans.
I have wanted one of these for a while. I bought it soon because Buck has stopped making these again. It is only currently being made as a presentation knife for Eagle Scouts. It is just as solid, smooth and strong as their folding hunter, just smaller and slimmer. I love the drop point. I don't hunt, but I am confident you could use this knife effortlessly for small game(and probably deer in Florida). I have large hands, and this fits just fine. This comes with a serviceable belt sheath, but I don't use it. This rides fine in a pair of jeans. It is too heavy for any dress pants, so you will need a lighter knife if you dress up and want to do pocket carry. This arrived sharp, and after a few minutes on my Sharpmaker it became almost razor sharp. Buck really knows how to treat their 420HC to get the most out of it. So you get a slim, strong, handsome lockback that sharpens up like a razor and is made in the USA for a little over fifty bucks. I like it a bunch. You probably will too...

Nice knife
Nice, sharp knife. Opens and closes smoothly.Sheath arrived smelling so bad I left it in the garage for three weeks and brought the knife inside. Had it not been for the sheath, its a solid 5 stars.
