This Open Season Skinner features a 4.5" 420HC stainless steel blade. 420HC is a standard steel with with great edge retention and corrosion resistance. This industry standard is easily resharpened. For best performance, this has been hardened to a standard 58 Rockwell hardness.

Good hunting knife
Perfect field knife. Used it on 1 antelope, 1mule deer and 1 elk 2018 season. Never needed to sharpen. Gut hook worked perfect. open season handle makes gripping and using the knife easy and safe. Knife was used for field dressing, skinning and butchering. Because of the handle design hand fatigue was minimal
