well built.. as expected from Buck
This is a really high functioning knife in that it gives you the option of three blades that are all useful. It is a work knife. No fancy handles or high maintainance finishes. This knife is slim, well constructed, and will handle years of continuous use. Anyone can tear up a knife by abusing it. Some on the web forums seem to take pride in tearing up knives and then writing poor reviews on them. I use my knives constantly, but do not abuse them. I dont take my car off roading either... Use a tool what its intended for and it will serve you well. Take care of this knife and you can hand it down to your grandchildren. Its a keeper.

Rust Spots on Brannd New Knife
I bought this blade for whittling. It was nice and sharp out of the box, I did not use it for a few days, but when I did I noticed some rust spots on the metal parts of the sheath and handle. Also the handle had some kind of black gunk in between the rivets of the synthetic. For a brand new knife this is not acceptable. I will be calling the company about a replacement.
